OnStage Swaps have been started...

Alrighty...I have finally started on my swaps for OnStage.  I have a TON of cards to make as I signed up for TOO many swaps...but I did it to get a large amount of samples.  I need to make 80 cards (10 each of 8 designs), 40 ATC's  (10 each of 4 designs) and design and prep a shoebox swap for 12 participants.  WOW...It is WAY more on paper than it seemed in my head!

Anyway, I got started first by going through the Annual Catalog and online for inspiration and design ideas.  As I see things I like I sketch those ideas out in my sketchbook and decide which stamps and accessories to TRY and use...sometimes they work...and sometimes they don't...but at least it is a place to start!

SO...once done with that I went and made one project from start to finish...So, I have 1 ATC swap completed.  YAY!!!  Then...the cold bug hit me HARD...and I have felt YUCKY and like doing nothing.  I just wanted to hang out on my chair in front of the TV.   So trying to accomplish SOMETHING...I have been stamping and coloring using the Stampin' Up! Blends and the stamp sets I had chosen during my inspiration and design phase.  Let me tell you the SU! BLENDS are AWESOME...and I so want them in ALL of our colors...

Here is a sneak peek at some bits and pieces that might appear on my swaps at OnStage in Ft. Worth.

Let me know if you would like to try out the SU! BLENDS yourself.  For every 25 comments I will put everyone's name into a drawing to WIN a set of blends (one color)...so for 25 comments...1 winner...50 comments...2 winners...so on and so forth...

So...Please leave a comment...

SU! Display Stamper Entries

Hello ALL...

Thanks for coming to take a look at my NEW blog...I was blogging pretty regularly a few years ago...but my full-time job and then my health issues reared its ugly head.  It has taken a few years for things to settle in and of course we have moved THREE times since then...but we are now in our FOREVER home out in the country on 10+ acres...

I am FINALLY getting my studio all set up after being in the house for over a year...there was a call from Stampin' Up! requesting demonstrators to post projects as they need cards, scrapbook pages and 3-D items to display at our events and gatherings.  I have done this 5 or 6 times in the past and absolutely LOVED it...so here are my entries.  I really hope that I got all my stuff entered correctly as it has been a long while since I have done any blogging, posting...basically anything but lurking online...so here they are...

Please leave a comment and let me know what you think...and check back in the next few weeks as I get this blog up and running smoothly.
